Creating ‘Eco’ the Humpback

Orange Digital has worked with The Group for many years, collaborating on video, trade show stands, website projects, branding, marketing collateral and more. The Group asked us to design an Orca themed mural (for a tunnelling machine) for a project launch in Ghana. The success of this design inspired The Group to brief us on a mural for the front of a cutting machine. It was to reflect both the environmental habitat and eco-friendly nature of their Gold Coast Seaway project. Thus, Eco the Humpback was born.

The Gold Coast Seaway project

This subsea crossing will be constructed underneath the seabed of an environmentally protected area of Moreton Bay. It will provide for continuous use by the local community for boating, fishing and recreational activities. On Wednesday 5th June, 2019, Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate visited the Gold Coast Seaway project. Check out his visit in the video below.

Eco at Bauma 2019

Bauma is the world’s largest construction machinery trade fair, held in Germany. The Group’s 2019 trade show booth showcased an illustration of Eco as a key feature, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on biodiversity and sustainable solutions. Our team created the trade show booth and all collateral for Bauma 2019.
